About the Architect

     Pavel Ivanov, AIA,Inc. is headed by Pavel Ivanov, a licensed Architect in California and Bulgaria, with a Masters degree in Architecture and is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the Bulgarian Association of Architects.  Pavel is an Architect with worldwide experience.  His career as an Architect took him from Bulgaria, to Kuwait, United Kingdom, and USA.  Starting his career in Bulgaria, he was awarded top prizes in several International competitions, which landed him a position as a Senior Architect in one of the largest Kuwaiti companies (SSH). Among numerous projects for public and private buildings, as a Senior Architect in SSH, he designed the "Guest Palace" in the Bayan Complex - the Kuwaiti government residence for visiting Heads of State.
 
     Pavel Ivanov started his own practice in USA in 1993.  The majority of his work includes exclusive multimillion dollar residences in California, mainly in the Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, and Bel-Air area, some of which are featured here.  Current International Projects include large developments in Kazakhstan and Bulgaria.  In Kazakhstan, the Zhailjau Golf Course Complex includes the design of a Club House, a Condominium Complex, and a large Upscale Housing Development.  Current Projects in Bulgaria include a mixed Residential / Commercial Project in Sofia, and Resort Projects on the Black Sea.

     Being recognized for his excellence and attention to every detail, Pavel usually carries out the design of the
buildings in their totality, to include the outside environment, the building itself and its interiors as well.
